Madison has had a great softball career for Dearborn High School and was elected team captain for the second year in a row.
Madison elevated the team wherever she played, exhibited top level athleticism and well-grounded skill set. Madison’s contributions include excellent leadership, a high softball I.Q and razor-sharp skills. Madison often played outside of her normal core position, yet she never complained and always did was asked of her from both her coaches and teammates. Madison is clearly the best outfielder in the area and has an innate ability to track, run-down and catch any ball that is hit to the outfield.
Madison has an absolute cannon for an arm and has thrown out runners at every base from the outfield this season. When Madison is on her game – she is an offensive beast and one of the most feared hitters in the county. Madison will be missed as she graduates but her legacy will live on!

Katelyn has had an amazing season for the team and has shown why she is one of the best players from the Region. Katelyn has played out of position all season and has still delivered impressive offensive and pitching stats throughout.
While Katelyn took on the role of number one pitcher for the team, she has done so with a focused and calibrated mindset. Katelyn worked hard to refine her pitching skills and led the team in starts, innings, strikeouts, wins and ERA.
Katelyn is an unselfish team-oriented player that literally gives her all for the team. When the team had some early season struggles, Katelyn hoisted the team on her back, played hard and led the team in nearly every single statistical category. Extraordinary endurance, high softball I.Q., great skill and leadership are just a few of the many qualities that Katelyn has exhibited for her team. Katelyn is just getting started and has two more years ahead in playing for Dearborn High.

While only a Sophomore, Niveen has shown yet again why she is likely the best Catcher that the city of Dearborn has ever produced. Extremely intelligent, agile, and athletic - Niveen literally shutdown the opposing teams running games from behind the dish for Dearborn High this season.
Truly a dominant defensive catcher, Niveen is a wall behind the plate and has the softball I.Q. and a cannon of an arm. If you challenge Niveen once on the basepaths, you likely won’t try her again. Niveen also led the team in total hits (36) and had an amazing year on the offensive as well. Niveen has a strong commitment to her team and gives her all on the field at all times.
Niveen is a teammate that her fellow players lean on for support and really knows how to bring a team together. Dearborn High is very fortunate to have Niveen for two more years!

Ally is quite the team player. When we needed Ally to step up, we were able to rely on her. We have counted on Ally to have a bigger impact for the team this season and she absolutely has delivered on everything that we have asked of her. Ally had a big year for us at the plate and was fourth on the team in RBI’s. Ally has worked hard and transitioned from being a platoon type player for the team to becoming an every-day starter.
Ally’s offensive and defensive production has greatly improved and her contributions to the team’s success have been absolutely critical. One of the most improvements to Ally’s game is her communication during the game. Out of her shell and taking on a leadership role is not something we expected, but it more than helped to elevate her team and the game.
We truly appreciate what Ally brings to the team and feel very fortunate to have another season with her next year!

Julia has had yet another impressive repeat performance for Dearborn High this season. Julia excelled both as the team’s leadoff hitter and defensively in the field. As a leadoff hitter Julia brought her intelligence, patience, and competitiveness to the plate for every single at-bat.
Julia had great discipline at the plate, would often extend each at-bat out and always looked for the most practical pitches to hit. Julia led the team in a number of different statistical categories, but one of the most impressive stat lines Julia had was in extending at-bats after being down 0-2 in the count. Julia had an incredible 12 at-bats in which she extended the at-bat into a minimum 3 plus pitches, which usually resulted in a hit or a walk for her team.
Julia was a team leader in quality at-bats, is EXTREMELY reliable at the plate, in the field. Julia also scored a season record 34 runs for the team. We are extremely excited about having Julia back at Dearborn High for the next two seasons!
Ava Craft

Ava is the star player on the Edsel Ford Softball team. She is our star catcher. Many Umpires have complemented Ava for her catching ability. Ava is the leader on the field and off. Ava is the leader in offense and defensive categories for the entire team. Due to Ave’s running speed, she is our leadoff hitter.

Faith is one of the star players on the Edsel Ford Softball team. She is our starting pitcher as well as our star shortstop. The team relies on her for her pitching ability. Faith is willing to play in any position that will help the team and always has a positive attitude. The entire team looks up to faith for leadership.
Faith is second on the team in the following categories: batting average, on base percentage, slugging percentage, and hits. Faith has proven in the past three years on the Varsity Softball team that she can handle the pressure of holding the team together when things do not look good. Faith is a player that can be coached and is willing to help out her other teammates when necessary.

Jaelyn is one of players on the team that can be counted on to come to practice and the games and always giving 100 percent. Jaelyn is always pushing herself to become a better player. She is our starting shortstop and has played left field, catching and third base.
Jaelyn is a solid player in any position that she is asked to play. Jaelyn is third on the team in the following categories: batting average, on base percentage, slugging percentage, and hits.
Jaelyn is a pleasure to have on the team and I am looking forward to the next three years. Her positive attitude is her strongest attribute because it is contagious for the rest of the team.

SS, 2B Outfield. Avery is a remarkable overall player. She is our captain for two years. She identifies what she needs to do and executes offensively. Currently she is hitting .407 Avg, OBP .446, OPS .887 with 19 runs scored.
Defensively she is primarily our Shortstop with a .986 Fielding percentage. However, she is an awesome outfielder as well! Avery leads the team in stolen bases with 14 in 14 games.

Avery is committed to play for Siena Heights in the fall.

Savina is a slapper/power hitter who is committed to play softball at Schoolcraft college.
Currently Savina is hitting .429 Avg OBP .491 and OPS 1.001 She is a versatile defensive player who can play 3rd and Outfield. Her speed makes her a threat both offensively and defensively.

Alexis "Lexi" Hansen is a slapper/power hitter. Currently she is hitting .429 Avg OBP .433, OPS .989 She has collected 14 RBIs in 13 games.
She is one of our captains and has recently joined a national tournament team. Every game she gets better and better.
Her speed and jumps on the base path make her a constant threat 14 games 8 stolen bases. Academically Lexi has 4.33 GPA.

Katie is a slapper/power hitter whose speed makes her a constant threat offensively. Currently she is hitting .529 Avg , OBP.593 OPS 1.279 SLG .686 with 21 RBIs. She is our second pitcher but spins the ball to keep batters off balanced. She has a very competitive travel ball schedule.
Her speed and jumps make her so much fun to watch. Running 2.7 secs from home to first.

Jess dominates the mound she has 147 strikeouts in 14 games on the mound with an 1.06 ERA .The QR code has Jess's measurables. This was taken over a year ago and she has only gotten better. She has been clocked consistently at 63MPH. Jess is a power hitter with a 75MPH bat exit speed.
I am confident that she will be one of the best pitchers in Michigan. All League, All District 2022 Jess maintains a 4.2 GPA
