Aubrey has been a team staple at 2nd Base for Dearborn High for the last two years. Aubrey is highly regarded by her coaches, team-mates and is clearly the best 2nd Baseman in the area.
Aubrey has continually worked and progressed into such a strong defensive player that she was rarely (if ever) taken out at her spot at 2nd base. It is rare to find such a self-motivated player like Aubrey and she always gave everything she had for her team. As the season progressed Aubrey was a sight to behold, she made some of the most difficult plays look easy and never backed away from a challenge.
Aubrey is able to think ahead in terms of game play and positional progressions which really helped the team from a defensive perspective. A team-first player all the way, Aubrey is loved by her team-mates.

Bess is arguably one of the best fastpitch softball players to come out of the Dearborn area, a two year team captain and a humble and hard-working leader. Bess makes every team better with outstanding skills, softball I.Q., leadership and work-ethic. Bess is a humble and team-oriented player that has given everything of herself to her teams and has been critical to the teams success. Bess has been a varsity starter since she arrived to Dearborn High as a Freshman.
A key varsity team contributor, Bess is a huge talent and has played nearly every position in her varsity tenure. Despite being the #1 pitcher for the team (since Freshman year), Bess's natural position is Shortstop - where she has proven to be one of the states best players. In addition to her defensive skills, Bess is a beast at the plate and has led her team in average and RBI's every year since her freshman start.
Bess has received numerous college offers and has decided to stay local and play at Henry Ford College.
Madison Lindow

Madison not only served as the team captain, but was far and away one of the better outfielders in the entire Region. Madison excelled in the Center Field spot, had great speed and tracking ability to run down virtually any flyball.
Madison also has a great arm and is capable of throwing runners out at any of the bases from any apot in the outfield. Madison also played 3rd Base and Shortstop whenever the team needed her.
In addition, Madison had a fantastic year at the plate and really came through for the team in the batting in the 4 spot for the team nearly all season. Madison has one more year and we are looking forward to witnessing her growth as both a team leader and as a player. Madison is truly one of a kind and exactly the kind of player that every team must have to be successful!

While only a Freshman, Kaitlyn proved to be a mainstay both offensively and defensively for the Dearborn High Softball team.
While Kaitlyn's primary position was 1st Base, she also outfield and pitched the team. Kaitlyn is a very diverse player, has a fantastic softball I.Q., is highly motivated and can flatout play the game. The team was made better by the stability and reliabilty that Kaitlyn brought to the team.
When Kaitlyn was asked to play out of position, there were no questions, no hesitation... she just got out there and played hard and gave her best effort. We look forward to Kaitlyn's future development and contributions to the team. Not many teams in the Region have the luxury of having a player of Kaitlyn's stature for 3 more years.

Niveen burst onto the scene and bolstered the Dearborn High defense with her play behind the plate and her offensive contributions.
It was more than apparent after her first time behind the plate that Dearborn High had just discovered its next great catcher! Niveen's gift to the team was her never quite attitude, her defensive prowess and an unbelievable technique that kept runners in check whenever she played behind the dish.
While only a Freshman, Niveen showed up ready from day 1 and was on-point for every situation. Niveen is a huge favorite in the clubhouse and always keeps the team in good spirits. The enthuseasm and work ethic displayed by Niveen was truly special. Looking forward to Niveen next 3 years. Big things ahead!

Breanna Diktarewicz had the highest Fielding % on the Thunderbirds and played excellent at the First Base position.
She batted Cleanup the entire season, knocking in runs and keeping innings alive.

Emily Mendez was solid at starting Pitching for Edsel Ford hurling the most innings on the team. When she wasn't in the circle she was playing at Shortstop and batted 5th in the order.

Faith Douglas was a starting Pitcher and Utility infielder for Edsel Ford. She is able to play all infield positions at a high level while maintaining the teams top batting average.

Ava was the primary catcher for the T-Birds while throwing out 9 runners attempting to steal. She also had a occasional stint at Shortstop. Ava did an excellent job as leadoff hitter for the entire season igniting the team by getting on base.

Isa is an aggressive and dynamic defensive player. She is hitting .357 with a.400 OBP. Isa has crossed the plate 18 times while having 17 RBIs for this season. Her defensive FPCT is .967.
Isa is currently entertaining offers to play collegiately from a variety of schools. She is a charismatic and dynamic player who loves to play softball.

Savina Olada has an incredible work ethic. She is a formidable fielder who has been effective on the left side offensively. She is a threat with slapping, dragging, and hitting for power on the left side.
Her ability to read offensive opportunities when baserunning is fun to watch. She has moved runners around and has an OPS of .780!
She is currently entertaining collegiate offers. We are looking forward to Savina’s future development and accolades!

Avery is a Junior shortstop who brings an abundance of knowledge to the team. She can play infield or outfield effectively. This year Avery is hitting .375 Batting Average however her OBP is over 500 and her OPS 1.010. She has contributed to 19 RBIs this season and has crossed the plate 26 times with 4 Homeruns! She has been entertaining collegiate offers and we look forward to her future decision. Avery Schellenberger is not only a great softball player but an excellent student maintaining 3.95 GPA.

Lexi brings speed, athleticism, and work ethic to our program. She is extremely dedicated to the team and will do anything that you ask of her! Her batting average .356 with an OBP of .450.
As a Freshman Lexi has proved to be one of the most successful outfielders in the Catholic League. We look forward to Lexi’s continued success and growth!

Katie can do it all! She can play infield, outfield, and pitch. She is a speedy base-runner and a fierce competitor. She hit .356 this season on the left side and is a slapper, dragger, and hits for power on the left side.
Katie is dedicated to improving her pitching with 44 strikeouts for her first year. However her biggest contribution was her ability to score runners and cross the plate with 18 RBIs and 21 times crossing the plate.

Fay is a role model both on and off the field, was a dedicated captain and always led by example. Fay brought an excitement and a focus to every game. Her impact left on this softball program will be felt for years after.
