Adnan contributed to our team in all phases; hitting, defense, pitching, and leadership. Adnan hit .257 with 7 RBI’s, 4 doubles, and 1 HR. Adnan started games at both second base, pitcher, and outfield, a jack of all trades if you will. A really good athlete with good hands, feet, quickness, and the ability to compete for our team. Adnan was a pitcher who I knew would go out there and give us a chance to win. Adnan also contributed to our team in a leadership role leading by example day in and day out. Rammouni was also an excellent student with a GPA over 4.0.

Marco was our everyday 3rd baseman and added a great bat to the lineup. Marco batted in the 3 hole for most of the season and sported the 2nd highest batting average on the team. Defensively Marco has the ability to make all the routine plays and then some. A great leader and teammate, as well as a respectful young man who represents Dearborn High the right way!

Mohamed batted leadoff for the team the entire season, contributing with a .293 AVG. Mohamed rarely struck out, and did a great job setting the table for the hitters behind him in order to generate offense. Mohamed was extremely valuable to our team by playing shortstop fielding above .950. Mohamed also was arguably our best pitcher on the mound, constantly giving our team a chance to win with him toeing the rubber. Mohamed is a competitor on the field, but also a great leader and teammate for the Pioneers. Mohamed is also an excellent student, sporting over a 4.0 GPA.

Nick led the team with a .339 Batting Average and 7 Doubles. Nick also contributed at the plate with 10 RBI’s. Nick not only is one of our top hitters, but he also locks down the Centerfield position like noone else. Defensively Nick is outstanding with speed and range as well as a strong arm to throw to all bases. Nick also excels in the classroom taking college level courses and maintaining a 4.0 GPA. A great teammate and an excellent representation of DHS

Hadi Elhasan was an asset to our team this year in many ways. One of the best averages on the team batting .301, also provided a game winning Home Run vs. Plymouth early on in the season. Hadi has also contributed to the team on the mound provided quality relief down the stretch of the season, highlighted by a save against cross town rival Edsel Ford at 5th 3rd field in Toledo. Hadi also excels in the classroom sporting a 3.96 GPA.

Evan is the only remaining Senior on this team. His leadership on and off the field has earned him the right to be the one and only captain. Evan is a 4 year starter and will leave behind some big shoes to fill at the hot corner. Not only does he excel in baseball but football as well. He was also voted captain of the football team, male athlete of the year and male scholar athlete of the year in 2021.

Chad is second year lettermen and a five tool player. He is at or near the top of every offensive category. He leads the team in stolen bases and is tied for homeruns. Defensively Chad is an above average shortstop as well as a pitcher. On the hill this year Chad threw 2 one hitters and a perfect game.

David is a second year lettermen and is a true asset to the program. Like his teammate and good friend Chad he is also at the top or near the top of every offensive category. Defensively David can play anywhere but where he excels in behind the plate. David has established what we call a “no fly zone.” He makes it very tough for opposing teams to run on him. His future is bright.

Jaylen has sacrificed his game more than any other player to create much needed offense. The resident “knuckler”; he has logged in much need pitchtime to keep our top two starters under the required maximum pitch count.
Jaylen led the team in “innings pitched” (30), batters faced (217), plate appearances (56), and walks (16)
Jaylen had his best game on 5/19/2021 vs. Redford Union winning the decision in long relief logging in 8 strikeouts (only walking 2).

The team’s starting catcher. Chris has drawn attention from college programs with only 2 years of playing experience developing superior “framework”, speed, and a POP time of 1:60sec. Tomas has one of the most tenacious work ethics of all the players. Stays focused and has only 4 strikeouts in 55 plate appearances this year. Humble. Great dugout personally. Stays positive in any situation. Made all area last year. Possibly the biggest factor in Robichaud’s “turn around” year.
Tomas led the pitching staff in victories, strikeouts (47), and led the starting staff in ERA.
Tomas led the team in 5 offensive categories including batting avg (.383), hits (18), and RBIs (17); with only 55 plate appearances as a “sophomore”.
Winning the starting shortstop early in the year, Tomas had 32 put outs (as of 5/31/21).
Had his best game on “Jackie Robinson Day” (4/15/21) vs. Eastpointe with 3 hits, with 5 RBIs. Scoring 3 runs.
Tomas gave up only 2 hits against Taylor Trillium. Striking out 11, throwing a complete game; while helping his own cause with 3 hits, knocking in 3 runs and scoring a run.

Bub stepped into the fold immediately after graduating from Tomlinson Middle School to play 18u baseball with his varsity counterparts last year in both the summer and fall logging in over 55 games BEFORE joining the Varsity program.
Has the most organized playing experience among all the players. Playing the game since 5 years old (10 years).
“Bub” led the team in 3 pitching categories, including games started (winning 3).
Led team in runs (16).
