Melina is dedicated to the team and passionate about playing. She is a skilled catcher and does a great job handling our pitchers. Melina is a vocal leader at practice and at games, as well as offering support and encouragement to all of her teammates. Her skills continue to improve because of her work ethic and determination. 2nd year starting at catcher (freshman year started at 3rd base), career batting average .359, career slugging .393, 91% fielding.

Madilynn has been our best offensive player since she started as a freshman. She is enthusiastic about playing, whether at practice or at games. Madilynn is positive and supportive of her teammates and a leader in the dugout. Her work ethic and dedication have led to improvements in her skill each season. 3 years starting left fielder, career batting average .425, career slugging .495, 93% fielding.

Miranda is passionate about playing softball and dedicated to our team. She played 2 years on junior varsity, developing her skills and her knowledge of the game. She was our starting 1st baseman last season and would have been this year as well. Miranda's work ethic and determination led her to improve game after game. Her supportive nature and positive attitude would have made her our 3rd captain this season.

Evelyn was the teams shortstop and had a penchat for making the difficult plays look easy. Evelyn took over as the teams starting Shortstop during her Freshman year and has never looked back. Evelyn has great defensive range, a high softball IQ and continually excelled at the plate making her one of the top players in the area. Evelyn finished her softball career as a captain, had a .420 batting average and tied for the lead in knocking runs in with 20 RBI's during her Junior Year.

Lily is a 4 year starting Pitcher for Dearborn High. In addition to having a career batting average of .325, Lily tallied 3 Career No-Hitters for Dearborn High Softball and was an All League selection for both volleyball and softball during the 2019 season. Lily followed the family tradition as a 4 year starting pitcher for the DHS Varsity club, tallied over 25 Wins and also continued to excel at the plate in finishing her DHS Softball career with a .328 batting average.

Hannah has been a starter for her 4 years on Varsity and truly solidified the 2nd base position during her time on Varsity. Hannah was a great defensive and offensive player and greatly contributed to the teams success throughout the years. While playing side-by-side with her sister Haley, the two sisters left a lasting legacy on the team and the coaching staff. Hannah finished with a lifetime batting average above .340 and brought a great level of experience and knowledge of the game.

Kyleigh was an outstanding team-mate and 3 year varsity player for the Pioneers. While Kyleigh is a natural 3rd baseman, she took on the tough position as the teams catcher and really worked hard to become a solid leader from behind the plate. While Kyleigh developed her defensive skills, her batting skills were very impressive with a lifetime batting average above .320. Kyleigh also drove in 17 RBI's for the team in 2019.

Bess is the third Grantham family member to make DHS Varsity Softball as a freshman. Bess can play nearly every position - she pitches, plays infield, outfield and is a leading hitter for the team. Bess had a great Freshman year including; pitching a No-Hitter, hitting an out of the park Grand-Slam and tying for the team lead in RBI's. Bess has many years of experience, works hard and brings a great spirit to the team. Bess follows her family tradition of tough nose play and giving her all on the field.

Aarin is a great team-mate in so many ways. Aarin has a great softball IQ, absolutely crushes the ball while at the plate and is a fantastic club-house leader. Leading into next season Aarin will continue to support the team with both her play and her leadership skills. Aarin leads by example, never asks more from her team-mates that she would as of herself and continues to be the ultimate team player. Aarin tied for 3rd in team RBI's and has several home runs to her credit.

Clara played 5 different positions in her 4 years. Playing catcher the last 2. She single handily help transform the Crestwood softball team into the hardest working program in the school. Everyday she lead by example with her dedication and tenacity. Her career and accomplishments will be remembered by her coaches and teammates for a long time. .425 Career batting average, drove in over 100 RBI’s in three seasons.

Sidney Croskey was a four-year starter, anchoring the left side of the infield at third base. She batted in
the power hitter position in the line up and hit .512 last season with 37 RBI. Sidney was named
All-District, All-Region first team, for three years, as well as All-Catholic for two years. In addition, Sidney
was named as a captain this year and earned All Catholic Academic Scholar recognition. Unfortunately,
due to the current situation, Sid’s high school career was cut short. We had anticipated great things for
this year! Sidney will attend Lawrence Tech in the fall where she will continue to play softball as a Blue
Devil.

Elizabeth Kramp was a three-year varsity outfielder. She was named All-District and All-Region in 2018
and 2019, she helped lead her team to the championship games by her aggressive base running. She is
clutch in the outfield with diving catches and quick relays into the infield. Her offensive contributions
include the ability to switch hit, slap, and drag resulting in a OBP of .750. Elizabeth is a fierce competitor
and although she received a couple of offers to play softball, she will attend the University of
Massachusetts Boston to play D1 college hockey.

Georgia Ploucha was a four year Varsity player. Georgia is a very strong and athletic competitor who
played a variety of different positions for our team which included outfield, catcher, and first base. Over
the past three years she was awarded All- district, All region, and All-League honors. Georgia has signed
to play softball for Rochester College and will be joining the Yellow Jackets this fall. She is excited to be
able to continue playing while pursuing a nursing degree.

Marina Johnson was a three-year varsity player. She is very versatile defensively pitching, playing infield
and outfield. However, her offensive contributions were key. Her quality at bats and putting the ball in
play to move girls around and score made her a true asset to our team. During her career she earned
All-District and All Region honors two years. In addition, she was named All-League for two consecutive
years. Marina will continue her softball career at Ave Maria University down in Florida.

Natalie Santostasi was a four year Varsity Softball player. She was an explosive firecracker offensively
and defensively. She commanded centerfield in the Catholic League as well as earned All-District and
All-Region distinctions for the last two years. Natalie’s speed and quick jumps make her very threatening
on the base path. One very impressive attribute is Natalie’s ability to outleg a bunt for a hit. Her upbeat
attitude and leadership qualities made her a great teammate. Although Natalie received offers to play
softball in college, she has decided to continue cheering at Central Michigan this fall. Go Chips!
